Pearson and Radar Education were proud to support the University of Dar es Salaam Business School in its July celebrations for the prestigious 50th Anniversary of the University of Dar es Salaam. At the invitation of the Business School, the team set up an extensive display stand and consulting area, where they spent their time hard at work discussing Pearson’s dynamic range of learning resources with UDSM lecturers, students and visiting officials.

Visiting from Nairobi was the Radar Education CEO, George Sutton, who was delighted to present Dean Marcellina Chijoriga and the representative of the Minister for Natural Resources and Tourism with a complete suite of textbooks to support the launch of the new Bachelor of Commerce in Tourism and Hospitality Management. ‘Pearson and Radar value their relationship with the University of Dar es Salaam Business School, and hope to work together in the development of a challenging and rewarding learning environment for its students over the coming months and years’.

The team is now working round the clock to ensure that relevant, affordable textbooks and learning resources are readily available to UDSM students from the start of the 2011//2012 academic year.
